Meets government and military standards
The ProtectStar™ Data Shredder meets and exceeds government, military and industry standards for the permanent erasure of digital information. The software erases all existing data including confidential, secret and top-secret security level data e.g. with the German BSI/VS-ITR TL-03423 standard, DoD 5220.22-M ECE and DoD 5220.22-M E.
ProtectStar™ Secure Deletion Algorithm
The ProtectStar™ Secure Deletion Algorithm©, which was specially developed by ProtectStar™ for ProtectStar™ Data Shredder, is one of the best such algorithms available today. It carries out 50 deletion processes and in a manner that complies with all international data security standards.
Official compatible with Windows 7
Since version 2.1 the ProtectStar ™ Data Shredder is official compatible with Microsoft Windows 7. The Windows 7-logo program helps customers in selecting suitable software, which work perfectly with the new operating system Windows 7 in terms of compatibility and reliability. Certification was granted after rigorous testing by Microsoft.
